“I see seniors who are struggling with mental health as it relates to declining health and cognitive functioning. Unfortunately, I tend to see seniors at a time when they are struggling with their health and unwell. But I am humbled each time I have the opportunity to speak with a senior, because it continues to remind me that there is a person behind the illness and the age. Each individual is unique, with a rich history of stories and experiences that in most cases, they are happy to share."
